# Netclient Throwing 'Segmentation Errors' on Linux

## Netclient Throwing 'Segmentation Errors' on Linux

#### Issue

I am suddenly getting "Segmentation Errors" on my machine. Netclient stopped working and I can't do `netclient uninstall` because it is throwing the error. In fact, I can't do any netclient commands at all.

#### Resolution

{% hint style="info" %}
The issue might have been caused by some operation on your OS — for example, a failed update, an incidental hardware fault, or premature termination while netclient was being installed or updated.

Reinstall netclient. The installer will automatically override/replace the existing faulty or corrupted installation. Re-join your machine to the network if necessary.
{% endhint %}
